UTRUK was founded in 2012 by Mike Carroll-Owen, an award winning Charity Founder and Recipiant of an Associate Fellowship to the Royal Commonwealth Society through the Late Queen’s Young Leaders Awards. Mike saw that through his own life experience of CSE he could help make a difference to male survivors of CSA, CSE and Domestic Abuse.
Supporting UTRUK will provide support to many male survivors of CSA, CSE and Domestic Abuse by providing them the with the support and tools to heal and thrive whilst living with the trauma which they went through.
